Now that you have a WordPress site set up, probably some content and I hope you played around with Pretty Links.
Now maybe you would like people to sign up to your blog for updates.
I guess we need some sort of way for people to subscribe to your blog.
You know, your “LIST”.
I use Subscribe2
It’s nice simple plugin, that works great!
So, go to the Plugins screen in WordPress, click “Add New” and search for Subscribe2
Click “Install”
A popup will appear, Click “Install Now”.
Now, Some servers will ask for a FTP login….
Medaguru does not.
Click “Activate Plugin”
Now go to Settings
The default setting are usually good Except check “Enable Subscribe2 Widget?”, tweek others as you will.
Under Tools you will find “Subscribers” That is your LIST!
Your List
Under Posts you can “Email Subscribers” .
So now we need to place a widget on our site so people can sign up.
Under Appearance, Widgets. Look for the Subscribe2 Widget and drag it to any widget area that suits you.
And That’s about it!
Check out your sign up form and Edit it if needed.

In Your WordPress menu click “Settings” then “Writing”
Near the bottom of the page you see
Update Services
Copy all the links in the above box and insert them in your blog. 
Going to play with the PrettyBar.

For this you may need a html editor and maybe a image editor if you want to get creative.
But…Don’t worry! We will start with the basics.
Before you know it you can be Daguru.
Look in your wordpress install for
plugins/pretty-link/images/bar_background.png
Change it how you like, now create a Pretty Bar redirection link.
How’s it look?
In that same directory you will find the Star image used for the logo in the pretty bar.
